I had a bunch of rare (mostly Dutch) punk records up in the attic gathering dust. Thought I'd sell them to make someone else happy and make some money as well. While doing so, I thought: well, let's use a small portion of this money to buy a couple of not-very-rare (usually English) punk records. This plan backfired as collecting early UK punk turned into a (costly) obsession. Here's some mp3's of both the rare and not-very-rare variety, plus some witty, insightful comments.

I love the blog - great to hear of some old names that were buried in the back of my head...
I wondered: any chance of a post of The Rondos 'Which Side Will You Be On' ep? I haven't heard it since about 1986 (I still have the album and a flexi)...
Back when we were kids (1980 - 82), my friend Rat and I were very much inspired by anarcho-punk (like Crass and Flux) - and we also loved The Ex and The Rondos. When we started our group (Napalm Death) at the end of 1981 we would play A Black and White Statement' by The Rondos in rehearsals...
