The interest didn't last too long though, did it? The music press didn't really have a clue then & they most certainly don't now. I really despise the music press for their ignorance & snobbishness. The music press were not interested in DIY punk rock in the UK until John Peel began championing THE STUPIDS, HERESY, NAPALM DEATH etc from 1986 onwards & then NME/Sounds picked up on them too.richpassivitynoreply@blogger.com
