The guitar on this record is so razor sharp and perfect! This replaces my lower-fi cassette copy- for some reason I never bothered finding a vinyl copy. A few years ago someone burned me a live Rings show from '77 that was kind of cool. I think it was the same live Rings show that was included on some Pink Fairies reissue CD in the mid 90's. Ugly Things 'zine did an excellent story on the Rings back in '97 that first got me interested in hearing the 7".
